If you're like us, you get in a food rut. This has happened with our morning smoothie. We've been continuously adding ingredients over the past few years and I will say, it has grown into a whopper! A delicious and nutritious whopper! You can see our 15 Ingredient Whopper Breakfast Shake as the last recipe.

Here's some simple, tasty and easy shake or smoothie recipes. It's not fun, if it's not easy. Mornings are hectic and you've got 10 things going on, need to get the kids out the door for school and yourself out the door to work! These are also kid-friendly so you can whip up a batch or two and send the kids on their way. Skip the fast food breakfast or donuts!

I'm not one to use ice cubes. If you want your shake or smoothie thicker, add 2 to 3 or more. I prefer using frozen fruit whenever possible. If you haven't checked out the frozen fruit selection at your local market, do it! It has greatly expanded over the past few years.

All this goodness in one delicious shake! I'm like a tiny tornado in the morning and toss this into the blender within 5 minutes. When people say eating healthy isn't easy, I can disagree. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and whether you go all out like our Whopper Shake, or any of the recipes above, it's better than grabbing a donut or a fast food breakfast sandwich. 23 - Whopper 15 Ingredient Breakfast Shake
1 scoop Life's Abundance Vanilla Plant Protein Powder (we buy ours here)
1 scoop Life's Abundance Greens Blend (we buy ours here)
2-4 frozen avocado pieces
1/2 cup frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon raw, organic honey
1 drop cinnamon bark oil or 1/2 tsp cinnamon spice
1-2 teaspoons turmeric
1-2 drops citrus oil (orange, tangerine, citrus fresh) 
2 heaping tablespoons steel cut oats
1 tablespoon raw, organic coconut oil
1 cup almond milk
splash of apple cider vinegar
