My Review Of Life's Abundance Shampoo, Conditioner And Hibiscus Mask And Scrub
Life's Abundance shampoo, Life's Abundance conditioner and Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask and Scrub were launched in November of 2020. I immediately ordered all 3 to test out. I did my video after using the products for a few weeks and was ready to post it but the Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask and Scrub was so popular that it completely sold out! Yes, it's that good!! So I've held on to this post and video until now because the Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask and Scrub is back in stock! YAY!!
Life's Abundance shampoo and conditioner are thoughtfully made to give you a gentle, renewing cleanse and conditioning minus the sulfates and other harmful ingredients. When’s the last time you looked at the back of the bottle? Do you know what those ingredients are? Like you, we were tired of seeing harsh chemicals. Not to mention the disappointment of natural products that leave hair feeling dry, stiff or residue laden. Now you can embrace the best of both worlds with a nourishing botanical formula that leaves your hair clean, moisturized and full of body.
Life's Abundance Shampoo Review
A little goes a long way! I have long hair and didn't have to use much which I love because the shampoo lasts longer. Since it's made with organic botanicals it gives a gentle, renewing cleanse without sulfates or other harmful ingredients. The shampoo promotes beautiful, glossy, healthy hair that rinses easily and feels absolutely phenomenal. I swear that my hair felt cleaner just using the shampoo and it didn't leave any build or film on my hair. It has aloe vera in it and that is the consistency of the shampoo itself. It's doesn't overly bubble up or foam and that's a good thing because those bubbles and foam are created by not so friendly ingredients. It also doesn't have any scent so if you're looking for a fragrance free shampoo, Life's Abundance shampoo has you covered. My hair looks healthier and that's a huge plus to me because I color my hair and it can easily feel like straw with the wrong shampoo. Normally with natural shampoos I find that I'm not able to achieve soft hair and with this shampoo my hair feels fabulous.
Organic glycerine is a humectant that absorbs moisture in the air and creates a protective coating over the hair strands. The organic lavender flower water in this formula helps moisturize and smooth. The hydrolyzed wheat protein increases the hair shaft’s ability to receive and retain protein and moisture, which strengthens and hydrates it from the inside and promotes shine and bounce on the outside. It has reduced the frizzies and added volume!
The organic monoi and rose hips seed oils as well as the provitamin B5 and vitamin E help nourish the scalp and hair follicles. The organic sunflower oil is high in fatty acids like phospholipids, ceramides and antioxidants that not only help nourish but also soothe dry hair and scalp. Rich in vitamins and minerals, the organic jojoba seed oil helps strengthen hair and promote thickness.
Two ingredients that you might not be familiar with and are wondering if they are safe are Organic Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate and Organic Leucidal.
Yes, they are both safe! Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate is a very safe, plant-based ingredient used to help with the rinsing and also has preservative properties. Organic Leucidal is derived from Radish Root Ferment, the organic Leucidal is a natural and effective preservative.

Life's Abundance Conditioner Review
If you've been using natural hair care products you know that finding a conditioner that’s not laden with chemicals and actually leaves your hair shiny and manageable is difficult. It was challenging for us and I was skeptical of trying the Life's Abundance conditioner because my hair is a snarly mess after my shower. I always have to use a leave in conditioner just to comb through it. Remember the old "No More Tangles" product? Even back then my hair was snarly and that was my go to product. However the ingredients were awful and as I learned more about the natural side of things, that product and others that I used were tossed.
I am pleased to say that I have no more snarls! Wow, that could be the name of the conditioner, am I right? Now I do use more Life's Abundance conditioner than I do shampoo because I feel I need to. Not necessarily that I have to but I do after years of being programmed to use so much. I am cutting back on the amount slowly to see how little I can get away with and still remain snarl and tangle free.
Many natural conditioners don’t address the entire hair growth and repair process. The nutrient rich organic botanicals in Life’s Abundance Conditioner nourishes the follicles, roots and scalp as well as replenishes the hair shaft with conditioning ingredients that soften, detangle and smooth. In addition by using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair is less frizzy. The conditioner does have a very light scent and my nose is guessing that it's the marigold flower extract that I can smell. Again, it's VERY light and after my hair dries, I don't smell anything. It's just right after I pour some from the bottle and start to apply it to my hair. You are going to love how conditioned your hair will feel and how easy it is to comb, dry and style.
A bit more information on the nourishing botanical ingredients in this formula as they were carefully chosen to work together to condition and replenish our hair. Specifically, the organic, plant-based cetearyl alcohol is considered by many hair care professionals to be a beneficial alcohol for the hair. That’s because it is a fatty acid that has moisturizing and smoothing properties, which help soften and detangle. Unlike drying alcohols, cetearyl alcohol has a restorative effect on the hair and scalp.
Aloe Vera has a similar chemical make up to keratin and assists in rejuvenating the hair with its nutrients. This natural hair loving botanical also adds shine and moisture to hair. The meadowfoam oil in this formula is rich in long-chain fatty acids and it coats the hair which helps lock in moisturize and shine. The organic oatmeal extract helps to smooth cuticles and calm frizz and the organic monoi oil in this formula helps add brilliance and shine to the hair.
The natural oils in the organic sage leaf extract help to strengthen the roots and stimulate healthy hair growth. The organic horsetail extract in this formula is an antioxidant that also helps contribute to healthy hair growth. The organic ginseng root extract helps nourish the roots and the provitamin B5 and vitamin E help nourish the scalp and hair follicles. The marigold flower extract (this is what I think I can smell) promotes healthy collagen production and the organic chamomile essential oil helps protect from environmental stresses.
For those of you that are looking at the ingredients, let's go over a few that you might not be familiar with.

Personally I can’t tell you how excited I was for these products to be released and after using them for a few months I won't be going back to my old shampoo and conditioner. It’s hard to find a safe AND effective hair care products that are both gentle and provide a renewing cleanse. The Life's Abundance shampoo and conditioner are free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicone, dyes, synthetic fragrance or formaldehyde donors (preservatives), I don’t have to worry what my scalp is absorbing just for great hair. The organic botanicals promote beautiful, glossy, healthy hair for all hair types: normal to dry, thin to thick, sensitive skin and scalp, color or keratin treated, straight, wavy, curly or coily. So no matter what hair type you have, we'd love to see you give these 2 a try!
Life's Abundance Mask and Scrub Review
The Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask & Scrub is made with 98% organic ingredients and is very gentle and effective. Over the years I've shied away from using masks and scrubs because often they are too harsh or abrasive. This contains precise blend of organic flowers, berries, honey and other skin loving ingredients gently exfoliate, smooth and brighten our complexion.
This doesn't feel like a typical face mask or scrub. You can tell when you take your first dip out of the container. This is another product that a little goes a long way and be sure to wet your face and neck before you use it so it glides on smoothly. I'm also not much for face masks and love that you can use this as either a face mask or a face scrub. As I mentioned in the video, I use this somewhere in between and apply it before I get in the shower and then wash it off right before I shampoo my hair. My face definitely feels softer and it helped tighten my pores.
Since the product was out of stock, I went from using this daily to every few days to make sure I didn't run out. Going forward now that it's back, I'll use it daily because it makes my skin feel fresh, clean and soft.
Also, don't forget the lips! Yes, this works great as a lip scrub!! A massage therapist we know uses this with her clients as a foot mask so if you're looking to pamper yourself, this also makes a great foot mask too.
The organic hibiscus in this mask and scrub is rich in antioxidants and help fight free radicals and promote a healthy complexion. The Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask and Scrub contains natural alpha hydroxy acids which help promote cell renewal and improve elasticity. As we get older that is important. I saw this start to happen and didn't like it one bit. I also didn't want to use a product with a ton of chemicals so this came out just in time.
It has a very light hibiscus scent but it's not overpowering and when I have it on my face, I barely notice it at all.
It contains organic acai and is loaded with vitamins and minerals that help nourish and protect the skin. The organic rose hips are a rich source of vitamin C and contain vitamins and antioxidants which help protect the skin from environmental stressors.
The organic oats gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. The fruit enzymes in the organic pumpkin add to the natural exfoliants in this formula and the glycolic acid rich organic sugar extract helps rid your complexion of dead skin that causes dullness. I started to see that glow as the dullness fades and your skin starts to look and feel better.
The nutrient rich organic honey in this formula attracts moisture to the skin giving it hydrating and plumping properties. The peptides, amino acids and vitamins contained in honey blanket the skin with natural calming and soothing nutrients.
I think that you are really going to enjoy using the Life's Abundance Hibiscus Mask and Scrub any way that you decide to use it...mask, scrub or somewhere in between like me!
